Refund Policy, Privacy Statement, Disclaimer & Waiver

WAIVER

When you book your place on the Yoga, Culture, and Ayurvedic Detox Retreat in ANY capacity; participant or traveller; you hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge Donna Lee Curtis, Cinnamon Yoga and any of their employees or agents from ALL liability pertaining to physical injury, wrongful death, property damage, loss of services & earnings occasioned by or in connection to any of the activities for the Yoga, Culture, and Ayurvedic Detox Retreat’.

You also acknowledge that in voluntarily choosing to participate in the Yoga, Culture, and Ayurvedic Detox Retreat in any capacity; you are alone 100% solely and personally responsible for any results expected or otherwise.

You alone take FULL responsibility for your own health, mental health, life and wellbeing. You further agree to use your own due diligence & judgement before applying to participate in the Yoga, Culture, and Ayurvedic Detox Retreat and respect the privacy and confidentiality of your fellow travellers / retreat participants / event participant.

In attending the Yoga, Culture, and Ayurvedic Detox Retreat in ANY capacity; participant or, traveller,or ANY other position;’ you further agree to abide by any rules or regulations set out by Donna Lee Curtis & agree to take FULL RESPONSIBILITY for your own actions and decisions.

You also further agree to disclose any relevant information related to both your physical and mental health which might be deemed appropriate for your safety and wellbeing.

You acknowledge that your TICKET is NON-REFUNDABLE.

In attending, registering, applying or purchasing tickets to the Yoga, Culture, and Ayurvedic Detox Retreat in ANY capacity as listed within, you agree that you have fully read the terms & conditions in their entirety and completely agree and with full understanding accept this waiver and all its components in its entirety. Failure to do so will see any ticket as void.

By booking, purchasing and participating in the Yoga, Culture, and Ayurvedic Detox Retreat YOU

Acknowledge that you are aged 18 years or over.

Understand that Donna Lee Curtis and Cinnamon Yoga, is NOT a medically licensed physician, does NOT provide medical advice, does NOT prescribe medical treatment or prescription and does NOT guarantee any result or outcome.

This service is NOT A REPLACEMENT for medical advice and medical treatment and it is always recommended that you consult with a medically trained healthcare professional before making any health decisions.

Understand that participation in this service / retreat is completely voluntary and that at any time you may choose to end your participation.

Understand that by participating in this service / retreat you are assuming full responsibility and Donna Lee Curtis and Cinnamon Yoga are not liable for any loss of property or medical damages.

REFUND POLICY

Upon purchase of your tickets to the Yoga, Culture, and Ayurvedic Detox Retreat , please note that there will be NO REFUNDS on ticket type.

There will also be NO discounts for arriving late, leaving early, change of personal plans, flight cancellations, travel delays illness or any unexpected personal events.

Tickets are NON-REFUNDABLE due to the following reasons:

• • We really wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (emergencies, delay, injury or illness, etc) but we have costs already incurred when hiring rooms, retreat accommodation, renting space, advertising, land travel, staffing & excursions, insurance, website costs, catering etc.

Further, Donna Lee Curtis also reserves the right to exercise discretion and review all matters on a case by case basis without bias.

In order to protect YOURSELF, your investment and make an informed purchase, please make sure you read and understand the following conditions per event type.

COVID RESPONSE | In this uncharted climate where country and or state border closures affect travel or domestic events, we CAN NOT offer ANY refunds after the non-refundable deposit UNLESS our vendors pass on their own refunds. On purchase of your ticket you agree to & accept responsibility for your investment and further understand pandemic adjustments to travel and events are well out of the hands of Donna Lee Curtis and Cinnamon Yoga & hold NO legal liability for financial loss against Donna Lee Curtis or Cinnamon Yoga.

We reserve the right to cancel any position or ticket to any event, where it is not in alignment with our ethos, where it is a conflict of interest, Multi-level marketing or safety & wellbeing for all parties involved.

TRAVEL

It is an ESSENTIAL CONDITION of your ticket purchase to take FULL COMPREHENSIVE TRAVEL INSURANCE. TO BE CLEAR THIS IS NOT JUST CREDIT CARD INSURANCE BUT A SPECIFIC POLICY, we suggest full comprehensive ‘Cancel any reason’ To protect your investment, we strongly suggest insurance be purchased as you purchase your ticket with us.

If WE cancel a retreat due to a lack of bookings ONLY, we will refund to you MINUS THE NON-REFUNDABLE deposit, all other payments you have made. We CANNOT, however, compensate you for airfare or travel costs incurred. This clause DOES NOT INCLUDE GOVERNMENT IMPOSED CANCELLATIONS DUE TO PANDEMIC OR TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS in which case refunds may not be possible depending on dates & will be reviewed by us with integrity on a case by case basis.

IMPORTANT NOTE: For travel retreats, wait until confirmation of retreat BEFORE you purchase an airline ticket. Once you have secured your retreat with NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT and we have CONFIRMED retreat go ahead, you will be added to our closed Facebook Group to receive retreat updates & information.

A minimum number of participants is required in order for a retreat to run. In the event that we cancel a retreat due to an insufficient number of participants, you will be refunded all land costs paid to Donna Lee Curtis or Cinnamon Yoga.

In the event that Cinnamon Yoga must cancel a retreat due to unforeseen or unavoidable circumstances eg weather, natural disaster, safety reasons, pandemic or political upheaval, we CANNOT guarantee a refund of funds paid after the NON-REFUNDABLE deposit – it will be dependent upon receiving a refund from providers that we work with. This is where your travel insurance will protect your retreat investment and is an imperative component of ALL travel retreats.

If for personal reasons you are unable to use your ticket for ANY of our events you CAN transfer the ticket to another person, an admin fee may be applied.

In purchasing your tickets to any of our events you FULLY AGREE TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

It is 100% your responsibility to ensure you have the correct documentation, passport, & if applicable, visa’s, medical records/certificates. For all countries of travel & re-entry into Australia.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

Your privacy is important to us, so the information you provide through this website is kept confidential and not used for anything other than your booking or purchase.

No access by third parties or sharing information is permitted at any time. With the exception of Medical information provided on all travel retreats should there be a need for disclosure.

By signing the registration, you give Donna Lee Curtis, Cinnamon Yoga permission to give said ‘medical information’ to emergency services where you are deemed unable to do so yourself.
